Mumbai: Bollywood prefers to maintain a good distance from politics most of the times. But here’s someone from the same industry who doesn’t mind speaking her heart out! Our very own “mast-mast” girl, Raveena Tandon has come out in support of Raj Thackeray’s views of banning Pakistani artists from participating in Indian TV shows and films. Thackeray had made headlines for even questioning veteran singer Asha Bhosle’s involvement with ‘Sur-Kshetra’, a show that has contestants and judges from across the border. The MNS chief had demanded a ban on the airing of the show, that is scheduled for a September 7 launch. Talking about what she feels about Thackeray’s reservation, Raveena told a daily, “Honestly speaking, Raj Thackeray isn`t wrong! There are comic stars who come to India from Pakistan aur wapis jaake hamari vaat lagate hein! Whether it`s sending terrorists like Kasab or sending hatred-invoking SMSes, Pakistan has always played dirty. So, what friendship and cultural exchange are we talking about.”
