Great music `as good as sex`

London: Scientists have revealed that listening to some great tunes equals great sex, as it stimulates the same part of the brain that is triggered by a scrumptious meal or lovemaking.

Scans taken at McGill University in Montreal showed areas of the brain’s pleasure centre became active when volunteers heard a song they liked, the Daily Express reported. Researcher Dr Robert Zatorre told Science magazine that the finding is fascinating because music consists of a series of sounds that have no inherent value but when arranged together can act as a reward.
