Robbie Williams ‘short-listing songs for next album’

Robbie Williams` right-hand man Chris Briggs has flown all the way to Los Angeles to help the singer through a heap of songs recorded by him.

London: Robbie Williams has started choosing songs for his new album, and his right-hand man Chris Briggs has flown all the way to Los Angeles to help the singer through a heap of songs recorded by him.
The 37-year-old English singer who has first been paired with hitmaker Guy Chambers by A and R legend Briggs, to create his mega-hit ‘Angels’, has since trusted Briggs’ opinion above anyone else in the business. “Rob has been really productive so there’s lots for him and Chris to go through. Rob will take on board any guidance Chris gives,” the Sun quoted a source as saying. It is also being said that only Sony, who Williams has met five times recently, and Universal, who are in-charge of releasing Take That’s music, could afford the expensive singer, now that his huge 80 million pounds four-album deal with EMI is over.
