New Delhi: Snapping a three-day losing streak, both the precious metals, gold and silver, recovered sharply in the national capital Friday on low-level buying by stockists for the ongoing marriage season amid firm global cues.
While gold jumped by Rs 255 to Rs 27,870 per 10 grams, silver rose by Rs 910 to Rs 46,000 per kg on increased offtake by jewellers and industrial units.
The sentiment turned better as stockists and retailers indulged in low level buying for the ongoing marriage season, traders said.Here are the closing rates of gold and silver in Delhi bullion market:
