Jake Gyllenhaal gifts Taylor Swift USD 11,000 vintage guitar

London: Hollywood heartthrob Jake Gyllenhal gifted his rumoured girlfriend, country sweetheart Taylor Swift, a USD 11,000 guitar, on her 21st birthday.

The 29-year-old actor who had recently introduced the `Love Story` hitmaker to his family, spent a lot of time researching so that he could get the right gift for Swift, reported Daily Mail online. He gifted Swift a vintage Gretsch guitar signed by country star Chet Atkins. His name is virtually synonymous with Gretsch guitars, the hollow-body electric guitars that have formed the sound of country music for decades. Gyllenhal got the hint about the special instrument when Taylor reportedly gushed about Gretsch during a recent trip to Nashville. PTI
