Fashion label MaxMara has honoured Holmes as their `Face of the Future`.

London: Italian fashion label MaxMara has honoured Katie Holmes as their "Face of the Future".

The annual award is given to recognise style, talent and the recipient`s contribution to the community and Holmes is said to be thrilled with the honour because she adores the label, reports a website. "Their clothes are so comfortable and beautifully made, I love wearing them," she said. Ian Griffiths, the fashion brand`s head of design, revealed they had chosen Holmes because she was the epitome of a MaxMara customer. "Katie`s style is chic and modern, it equates with the MaxMara style because it gives you confidence so you look good in anything. No matter what you`re doing you don`t have to worry about how you look," she said. The award will be presented to Katie at a gala in Beverly Hills in June where she will join the ranks of previous recipients like Zoe Saldana, Emily Blunt and Elizabeth Banks. IANS
