Manish Malhotra to design Mumbai Police`s new uniform
Designer Manish Malhotra, who is to craft a new uniform for the Mumbai Police, is excited about the project but will not disclose any details, saying the project is in its early stages.

Mumbai: Designer Manish Malhotra, who is to craft a new uniform for the Mumbai Police, is excited about the project but will not disclose any details, saying the project is in its early stages.
"Now it`s in a very early stage. We are working on it. It will take some time. Lots of approvals have to be taken. We all are very excited; it`s a very prestigious thing for me. The work is in progress. I can`t say anything more about it," Manish said.
Asked to give some hint about the design and colour of the uniform, he said: "Nothing has been decided."
Manish is doing the finale fashion show at IIFA Awards 2010 to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka and also designing Kareena Kapoor`s costumes for her performance in that ceremony.
