Post ‘Dabangg’, Salman Khan gets ready for ‘Ready’

After the super-duper success of ‘Dabangg’, superstar Salman Khan is all set for his upcoming film ‘Ready’.Aneez Bazmi, the director of super hit films like ‘Singh is Kinng’ and ‘Welcome’ will team up with the star actor for the comedy flick. The film will be a remake of a Telugu blockbuster. The actor-director duo will be working together for the first time after ‘Welcome’.

Mumbai: After the super-duper success of ‘Dabangg’, superstar Salman Khan is all set for his upcoming film ‘Ready’, which will be produced by T-series and directed by Anees Bazmi. South Indian hottie Asin will be paired opposite the ‘Dabangg’ star for the second time after ‘London Dreams’. Aneez Bazmi, the director of super hit films like ‘Singh is Kinng’ and ‘Welcome’ will team up with the star actor for the comedy flick. The film will be a remake of a Telugu blockbuster. The actor-director duo will be working together for the first time after ‘Welcome’. “`READY’ is a highly anticipated movie since it marks the coming together of Salman Khan and director Anees Bazmee after ‘No Entry’ which did extremely well. Anees is an ace at comedies and Salman Khan has impeccable comic timing- ‘Ready’ has blockbuster written all over it”, said a source. “The experience with Salman bhai has always been very good since we have been involved with the music of many of his hit films. Right from ‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’, ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, ‘ Tere Naam’, ‘ Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’, ‘Maine Pyaar Kyon Kiya’, to ‘Wanted’, we have had a great association with bhai (Salman). All these films have had blockbuster music. It has always been a friendly and family kind of a feeling whenever we are doing a film with him. So it feels nice to re-unite once again with him for ‘Ready’”, said Bhushan Kumar of T-Series. “I was always looking for a script which has everything and I found that in ‘Ready’. The film has lots of humour, there are 2-3 action sequences which Salman fans will love and there are a lot of dramatic sequences. We also have good scope for music. In short, it`s a total masala entertainer with proper story and screenplay,` added Bhushan Kumar.
