New Delhi: Silver traded a shade higher at Rs 45,635 per kg in futures trade Wednesday largely in tandem with a rising trend in precious metals in the global markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in September traded higher by Rs 52, or 0.11 percent, to Rs 45,635 per kg in a business turnover of 31 lots.
Similarly, the white metal for delivery in July traded Rs 46, or 0.10 percent, higher at Rs 44,907 per kg in a turnover of 1,018 lots.
In the international market, silver traded a shade higher at USD 23.97 an ounce in Singapore.
Analysts said a firming trend in precious metals in the global market on rising physical demand in China, influenced silver prices at futures trade here.
