A major player in Railway catering service, Comesum group, has come under scanner of CBI which has arrested two senior rail officials and a businessman in connection with alleged corruption in supply of packaged drinking water in Rajdhani and other superfast trains.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Sunday arrested two officers of the Indian Railway, Sandeep Silas and MS Chalia, who have been facing probe in the alleged corruption case in supply of packaged drinking water in premium trains.
A company and a society, linked to suspended Railway officials facing CBI probe in connection with alleged corruption in supply of packaged drinking water in premium trains, have come under the agency's scanner which suspects these were used for camouflaging illegal remittances received from private caterers.
