New Delhi: Rumors, hints, speculations and wild guesses are the basic ingredients behind every successful Apple product launch.
The latest version of Apple’s iPhone or the iPhone 5 may be launched in the market in the fourth quarter of this year.
According to reports, Chief Financial Officer of the leading American telecom service provider Verizon, Fran Shammo has referred about a launch of a ‘big smartphone’ by the last quarter. Shammo dropped the hint while attending his company’s quarterly conference call.
However he did not specify an exact date when the smartphone would be released.
During the second quarter of 2012, Verizon sold approximately 2.7 million iPhones as the wireless service provider carries both the iPhone 4S and iPhone 4.
There are few market experts who are also speculating that Apple might launch its iPhone 5 next month but the wide majority of reports putting the release sometime in September or October.
