Mumbai: None can deny the fact that childhood is the most cherished phase in one’s life. We were protected, carefree and fun loving. And that’s what our Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar reiterated while attending an event which celebrated Children`s Day with underprivileged kids of The Vatsalaya Foundation on November 13. Interacting with media Akki said, “The greatest moments in an adult`s life is when they have children of their own. The only time an adult is worth spending time with is when they are surrounded by kids and becoming like them.” Akshay, who has been more than generous in contributing in the kids` domain of film craft by doing voiceovers for ‘Jumbo’ and also lending voice to the lead character, Optimus Prime of the ‘Transformers’ series was at his cheery best at the event. He danced and played with the young guns and even gave them a few tips on martial arts. “We owe our happiness to our children. If they could run the country for a day can you imagine what magic they could create? To my son and my niece, `Thank you for bringing out the best in me," said Akki. At the event he was so impressed with one kid`s dancing skills that he even presented him his sunglasses. It was joys no bound for the kid!
