New Delhi: Half a lakh? You must be kidding, said a fellow while sipping tea at the tea stall near the office when he heard the price of the phone. The other jokingly said that the Lumia 1520 story might be very similar to the Delhi fog. Both might just last a couple of days to vanish—one from the stores and the other with the passing of the month.
Finnish handset maker Nokia might want to target the top end of the market with the Lumia 1520 Smartphone/phablet in India. But truly, at Rs 46,999, the Lumia 1520 has to doubly justify itself in the price sensitive Indian market. Moreover the brand conscious Indian will also like to be rational and at the same time be comparative when it comes to buying an expensive product.
However it will be naive to completely write off some incredible features of the pone. For instance, Nokia Lumia 1520 is incredible when it comes to camera specifications. The Lumia 1520 packs a powerful 20 megapixel PureView camera with auto focus and dual LED flash. The image sensor is further complemented by Carl Zeiss optics. The device also has a powerful secondary camera with 1280 x 960 pixels resolution.
The hardware of the phone is not second to any existing android models. The Lumia 1520 is the first smartphone from Nokia to have a quad core processor. The Super sensitive touch-screen device houses 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor and Adreno 330 graphics processing unit.
The 6 inch full HD Smartphone has 15.24 cm display size with a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 and (368 ppi) pixel density, Corning Gorilla Glass 2 technology. Powered by the latest version of Windows Phone 8, the device comes with Live Tiles, which let you pin your favorite people, apps and more to your Start Screen. The live windows tile has a three column for better display. Other major SpecsMemory

Though some of the tech specs of Lumia are mind boggling, if price is the sole factor, the customer does have an option—the recently launched Apple 5C and 5S, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 or the Xperia Z or the HTC One Max. Though these are not the sole phones to be compared but certainly the options are not very limited!
