Exalogic Elastic Cloud Software 2.0: Oracle’s new announcement

New Delhi: Oracle has announced a second generation of Exalogic software called Exalogic Elastic Cloud Software 2.0.

Exalogic engineered system outperforms competing platforms by a wide margin: Eliminates application and middleware deployment risk with one-click automated deployment of complex, multi-tier business applications, a website quoting Oracle’s press release said.

Exalogic is one of Oracle's so-called engineered systems combining hardware and software "engineered to work better together," but until now it has been more of an infrastructure appliance combining compute, storage, operating system, infiniband networking, and system management software.

Customers and partners can be sure that Oracle Exalogic will provide them with an engineered system that accelerates the performance and can protect and maximize return on their existing and future Oracle software investments.
