45,000 units of Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus sold on first open sale

New Delhi: Chinese handset maker Lenovo on Wednesday sold 45,000 units of its latest smartphone, the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus during its first open sale.

Contrary to flash sales, there are no registrations for open sales. However, sales are held for a certain period time during a day.

The next open sales is scheduled for March 30 at 12:00 Noon.

 

The smartphone, which was launched in India earlier this year, sports a 5-inch IPS LCD Full HD display with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution and 441ppi.

Priced at just Rs 8,499, it is considered to be one of the best sub-Rs 10,000 smartphones in the market today.

It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB RAM. It also comes with 16GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.
