50,000 fans register for Xiaomi Mi Max launch event

New Delhi: With Chinese tech giant Xiaomi all set to launch the Mi Max smartphone and MIUI 8 Thursday, 50,000 Mi fans are said to have registered to attend the event.

The 2016 Mi Product Launch event will be held at the Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium on Thursday.

Earlier, while launching the Mi Community in India, the company had sent out invitation to fans for participation in the said event.

Following the invitation, 50,000 Mi fans were said to have registered for the event.

Mi sent out a message thanking fans for the “Max-imum support”.

During the event, Xioami is set to launch the 6.44-inch Mi Max smartphone along with the MIUI 8.

The stage for the event has also been all set with the company giving a glimpse of the event venue via twitter.

The company will also be giving away 100 units Mi Max supports to 100 lucky winners.
