Duchess Kate tops Vanity Fair’s best dressed list for 3rd time

The Duchess of Cambridge has topped Vanity Fair’s annual International Best Dressed list for the third time in a row.

Wellington: The Duchess of Cambridge has topped Vanity Fair’s annual International Best Dressed list for the third time in a row.
With brother-in-law Prince Harry too making this year’s stylish slate, the British royalty duo have made its mark on this year’s best dressed list. Australian-born Princess Mary of Denmark, wife of Crown Prince Frederik, was also named one of the world’s best-dressed, Stuff.co.nz reported. The Duchess of Cambridge, who earned top spot on the 73-year-old list, has no dresser. She has earned applause for the way she mixes high-end couturiers such as Alexander McQueen with her own selections from the racks of TopShop and other chains. It’s the third time Kate has appeared on the list, and this year she appears on one of the magazine’s two September covers. Actress Jessica Chastain, who features on the list for the first time, graces the other cover. The 27-year-old prince also makes his debut on the list this year. However, Prince William failed to make the cut. Celebrities on the list included rapper Jay-Z, Alicia Keys and actors Diane Kruger and Richard E Grant. Swiss financier Arpad Busson, former partner of Australian supermodel Elle Macpherson and the father of her two sons, is on the list for the second year in a row. Actor Colin Firth and his wife Livia featured in the Best-Dressed Couples category, along with US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle. ANI
