Asus unveils both Android, Windows 8-based Transformer Book

New Delhi: Asus unveiled the Transformer Book that runs on both Android and Windows 8 at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Transformer Book is an all-in-one tablet-cum-PC that that combines the functionality of a tablet and a notebook.

It features a 13.3-inch full-HD multi-touch IPS display, powered by 3rd generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processors and offers 128GB SSD storage.

Asus also unveiled the VivoTab Smart—a Windows 8 tablet— with a 10.1-inch IPS display with a 366x768 pixel resolution at the electronic show.

The company has not yet made official the pricing and availability of both the devices.

I have had many ASUS products over the years Recently I just bought two top of the line ASUS laptops for work and home use Each are working great I have know people with the Transformer tablets and they swear them This product has me excited as I use both android and a full windows based tablet product with a backlit keyboard is a great option especially since I do alot of international travel and carrying a large laptop is sometimes a cumbersome This looks to be an all in one option I would definitely be interested in looking at and trying-MacPointMan -Georgia USA

Never buy any Asus product, I have seen 3 laptops all became out of order in max 30 days only, in which one is mine-Bharat Bhushan -Kolkata
