Asus ZenFone 5 to be launched in India soon

New Delhi: Taiwanese manufacturer Asus is set to launch its ZenFone 5 smartphone in India. The company has not revealed the price yet but it is likely that the price will be pegged around Rs 15,000-20,000. Asus can give a stiff competition to Moto G, HTC Desire 516 and BlackBerry Z3.

ZenFone 5 comes with a new user interface, it is powered by Intel Atom processors. The phone has a plastic body with only a bit of metal. It has a 5-inch touchscreen. Asus has included IPS (In-plane switching) technology so that the display is viewable from all sorts of angles without much difficulty.

The phone has a 2MP webcam for video chatting and selfies. The smartphone has a 8MP camera with LED flash. It comes with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. As expected these days, this phone also has dual SIM card slot. Its 2110mAh Li-ion battery will give you almost 18.5 hours 3G talk time.

The Asus ZenFone 5 will come in five color options of purple, gold, white, red and black. It weighs 145 grams, which is not quite heavy. It comes with 2GB of RAM and an internal storage of 8GB which can be extended with an external 64GB microSD card.
