The HTC One X and One V leave much to be desired for those who aren’t willing to spend big. But their cousin, the Desire series has added another member to its family, the HTC Desire C.
An entry-level smartphone that runs on Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS), featuring a 3.5 inch display with a 320x480 resolution, HTC Desire C is selling online at Buytheprice.com for Rs 14,299.
Powered by a 600 MHz processor with 512 MB RAM and the new Sense 4.0 user interface the Desire C carries 4GB of internal memory along with the option of increasing it through a microSD slot. And with a 1230 mAh battery, it’s more likely to work through your everyday work.
It sports a 5 MP snapper with LED flash, HTC Beats Audio and 25 GB of cloud storage at Dropbox space for 2 years.
Since the Ice Cream Sandwich is taking over Gingerbread space in most Android-based smartphones, the Desire C, with out-of-the-box Android 4.0, will turn heads and capture that middle ground which other smartphone manufacturers are vying for.
With the Desire C in Indian space, the One X maker is closing in the gap by bringing out the One S in the Indian market soon.
