Battery Charge

Don't stress the phone while on charging mode. Many of us have this habit of fiddling with the phone while it is kept on charge. Stop the urge to watch video or play game when the phone is put on charging. Doing this will ease the burden on your phone and diminish heating issues.

Signal or Mobile network

Poor signal or bad mobile phone network is also responsible for overheating. It is because the phone's antenna is always in search of network which heats up the phone. So try and be in a good network area as much as you can. If you can't avoid a poor network area and your phone heats up a lot, just put the phone in flight mode for a while. You will see an appreciable decline in heating.

Background Apps

Background apps are the real trouble maker. Know the importance of apps and keep only those apps which you think are important for you. Mobile phone companies install a lot of mobile apps which are not of use to everyone. These apps keep sending notification all the time which involves a lot of background activity on your phone. Get rid of the unnecessary apps and you will see a drop in your phone's heating.
