Google Nexus 7 goes on sale in India at Rs 19,999

New Delhi: Google’s 7-inch Nexus 7 tablet has finally reached India. The tablet which hit the stores on Thursday has been priced at Rs 19,999 for 16GB.

Running on Android 4.1, the tablet will be available in Croma outlets across India, as per media reports.

The device is powered by Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, which clocks at 1.3 GHz. Nexus 7 comes with 7-inch IPS display screen with a screen resolution of 1280x800.

It has 1GB RAM, 1.2 megapixel front camera and 4325 mAh battery. The tab is rumored to have a nine hour battery backup on a single full battery charge.

The search-engine giant formally announced the Google Nexus at the I/O conference in July.

I bought this device from Grabmore long back and I just ended up paying Rs 17999 I also called Asus and checked for warranty They had confirmed the device have international warranty Guys so just buy imported asus google nexus-Ram -Bangalore

I bought a Wammy Desire from wickedleak , Its a dual core processor tablet with jelly bean Os Its the best tablet ever launched in India Moreover am also happy with the fact that an Indian company launched the first jelly bean tablet in India , with a price of Rs 6948 only ! so go guys buy a desire than a nexus :)-Gladwin Dsouza -Delhi

Ya, that`s right Its too pricy There are a lot of options out there and Google will learn it the hard way if they price their products so invariantly, whatever the reason maybe-Raj -

In US google subsidizes the device because it sold as a consumption device, ie they expect users to buy stuff with the device like from play store That model probably do not work in India-Arun -Trivandrum
