New Delhi: Google is likely to launch its second generation Nexus 7 tablet in India on Tuesday. As per media reports the internet giant has timed the launch of the device before Apple launches its iPad Mini with retina and iPad Air.
Reports have it that the second-generation Nexus 7 tablet will cost Rs 25,999 in India for the 32GB Wi-Fi and 4G variant.
The new Nexus 7 has more powerful and better graphics processor. The device is almost as twice as fast that packs Qualcomm's 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor.
The new Nexus 7 will also be the first device to get the 4.3 version of its Android software.
The new Nexus 7 tablet boasts a higher-definition 17.5-centimetre display screen promising a retina-quality display. Nexus 7 features a higher pixel density (323 pixels per inch vis-à-vis 216 on the old model).
Google Nexus 7 has no microSD support, which means that you will have to make do with the existing model. Incase your demand for space storage is more; you have no other option than to buy the higher-end model.
The device sports a 5-megapixel rear camera though it is being widely said that the camera is not certainly the best in range.
The new Nexus 7 has dual stereo speakers (on the left as well as the right side of the tablet) which means that you will hear richer sound. The device's battery duration also enjoys and extra hour as compared to the older one.
Meanwhile, the recently launched Google Nexus 5 has been put to pre-order by online retailing site snapdeal at Rs 28,999 for 16GB and Rs 32,999 for 32GB variants. The Smartphone is slated for release by the last week of this month as per reports.
