Zeebiz BureauNew Delhi: For those wanting to buy the Nexus 7, this piece of news is certainly going to enthuse. If media reports are to be believed, Google is working with Asus for a cheaper version of the Nexus 7 tablet.
The cheaper Nexus 7 is expected to be launched before April next year. The tablet is likely to be priced around $99 or Rs 5,000 approximately.
The Glass-Film-technology might help Google produce the cheaper version of the tablet by saving on the cost.
The new tablet will be powered by a 1GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 400MHz Mali GPU, 7-inch 1024×600 display, 1-megapixel front camera and a microSD card slot.
