HTC One smartphones to receive Jelly Bean upgrade

The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS upgrade will now be available on HTC's premier smartphones – the One X, One XL and One S.

New Delhi: Taiwanese tech giant HTC has announced that the latest edition of the highly coveted Android OS, Jelly Bean (v4.1), will now be made available on its premier smartphones – the One X, One XL and One S.

HTC confirmed the statement and said that the upgrade will be rolled out to the HTC One phones soon.

The next in Android flavours Jelly Bean has quite a few neat tricks up its sleeves. Project Butter – with this feature the OS plans to operate as seamlessly with much poise and impeccability, in other words, smooth.

The Camera will see a new user interface along with better access to the Gallery and photos and videos. The UI will also come with new gestures, features and so on.

Along with the rest of them the notifications bar has also seen an upgrade with the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
