IFA consumer show: Sony unveils first BRAVIA 4K LCD TV

The 84 inch TV has 4,096x3,072 pixels which is touted to be much better than the display of a normal HD TV.

Berlin: This year IFA consumer electronics event has a host of products waiting to be launched before the consumers. In the LCD TV range, Sony has made an announcement.

The Japanese multinational conglomerate has unveiled its first BRAVIA 4K LCD TV XBR-84X900 at the IFA consumer show.

The 84 inch TV has 4,096x3,072 pixels which is touted to be much better than the display of a normal HD TV.

The price and release date of the product has not yet been made official but as per reports the TV will be available by Christmas.

The IFA consumer electronics event in Berlin opens to the public August 31.
