
New Delhi: Handset maker Karbonn mobile on Friday launched new mobile phone, Karbonn KT-21 Express, with an application that claims to provide access to over 50 free-to-air television channels on 2G network for Rs 4,990.
"The Karbonn KT-21 Express has NexgTV application which allows users to watch more than 50 live TV Channels on the phone using 2G network. At present these are all free to air channels," Karbonn Mobiles' Executive Director Shashin Devsare said here today.
To access live television, users will need to get internet pack activated on his mobile number, he said.
The phone has Karbonn Instant Messenger (KIM), instant messaging service, without paying extra charges.
"The messenger will work on the already subscribed mobile internet pack," Devsare said.
Besides this, the phone will allow user to download other instant messaging solution Gtalk.
Karbonn KT-21 Express also has push mail facility that allows the handset user to access E-mails to integrate email accounts like Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL, GMail, Outlook, etc, on their devices.
The phone has dual SIM slot with 7.1 centimeter touch screen, motion sensor,social Networking Services, 3.2 megapixel camera with Flash, 16 GB storage memory support, Java applications, PC Sync, Bluetooth Mobile Tracker and dual torch.
