Lenovo launches seven-inch tab for Rs 15,499

The tab features a quad-core 1.3 Ghz processor, 5 megapixel rear camera and 2 MP front camera.

Chinese tech giant Lenovo on Thursday launched its new 3G seven-inch tab 'A7-50' in the Indian market, priced at Rs 15,499.

The tab features a quad-core 1.3 Ghz processor, 5 megapixel rear camera and 2 MP front camera, 1GB RAM and Android 4.2 Jellybean operating system (upgradable to the latest KitKat).

With 16 GB internal storage, the tab supports 32 GB external storage via SD card and has a 3450 mAh battery.

"The market is inundated with options, but the A-750 stands out as it is the first complete seven-inch tablet that offers double the power and performance, vis-?-vis other devices in the same price bracket," Lenovo India Director, Tablet Business Unit Rohit Midha said.

The A7-50 also comes preloaded with premium apps like SHAREit, SECUREit and SYNCit to enhance the user experience, he added.

Using SHAREit, users can sharing photos and content across devices without network charges or Wi-Fi connection, while SECUREit helps speed up the device and protect against viruses, spam, malware.
