Lenovo new ultrabooks — IdeaPad U310 and U410 enter Indian markets

PC maker Lenovo has launched two new ultrabooks in its IdeaPad series — the IdeaPad U310 and U410 and the IdeaCentre A720 All-in-One PC in the Indian market.

The new ultrabooks were first showcased at the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this year. They carry Intel’s new Ivy bridge processors along with a combination of 32GB solid state drive (SSD) and 500GB hard drive, offering up to 1TB of storage capacity.

The ultrabooks feature Intel’s anti-theft technology enabling the user to remotely disable the PC and locating it using GPS.

The IdeaPad U310 has a 13.3 inch HD display while the U410 has a 14 inch display. Available in attractive colours like Sapphire Blue, Aqua Blue, Metallic Red, Graphite Grey and Cherry Blossom Pink the U310 and U410 will sell at Rs 49,990 and Rs 52,990.

The All-in-One IdeaCentre A720 is a 27-inch,high def 16:9 screen behemoth supported by a 10 point multi-touch display with a backbone of Intel’s third generation on processors. It’s garnered by NVIDIA GeForce graphics with storage capacity of 64GB SSD and 1TB HDD.

The Multimedia system sells at a starting price of Rs 84,990.
