LG Optimus 2X getting Android 4.0 ICS update

New Delhi: Korea phone maker LG has announced that Optimus 2X will be getting Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update.

LG, which had launched the Optimus 2X with Android 2.2 Froyo OS, has announced the news via tweet.

“Optimus 2X ICS will be applied according to the results of upcoming tests. We will try to let you know the schedule of Optimus 2X ICS update as soon as possible. Please expect an optimized ICS experience”, LG tweeted.

Although there is no official schedule for the update, but it is expected to be upgraded soon.

I don`t think I`ll be able to upgrade any of my lg phones in the family even against my will i`m getting iPhones unfortunately is the only device that keep you d all others just want you to get a new device very bad and sad-Hector -Canada

Finally! Some news for ICS on the Optimus 2x! After hearing about the news on LG Canada about denying ICS for the 2x I kind of lost hope Now let`s just jope that the 2x will actually get ICS-Marko -Canada
