Mumbai: Manipur-based acrobatics group Reincarnation of Indian Acrobatics (RIA) won the title of Mega Entertainer of the Year at the grand finale of the third season of Sony TV`s reality show ‘Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega - Season 3’ Sunday night.
The group stood out for their specialised Manipuri acrobatics and balancing acts and claimed the grand prize of Rs.10 lakh.
The grand finale was attended by Bollywood star Akshay Kumar and actress Neha Dhupia, who came to promote his forthcoming film ‘Action Replayy’.
Akshay gave Rs.1 lakh each to aerial acts-specialist Ginu and Mahesh Navale Group. In fact, the latter group impressed Akshay so much with their difficult tasks that he gave them an old bike that he said, had brought him good luck in the past.
These apart, Flashmob, a group known for its special dance formations, went on to receive the ‘Spotless Performance’ award for their co-ordination.
’Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega’, produced by Wizcraft Television, is loosely based on American reality show ‘30 Seconds To Fame’. The show was judged by music composer Annu Malik and choreographer-director Farah Khan.
