Cheryl Cole wants Malibu home?

London: Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole is reportedly househunting in Malibu to find a property to live in while she works on breaking America.

Cole, 28, is keen to relocate to California on a permanent basis in a bid to crack the States and wants a beachside property after seeing pictures of the Beckham family enjoying their rented home their last summer, Femalefirst reported. "Cheryl loved the pictures of the Beckhams on their own beach at their rented Malibu home and she wants the same. She wants to be near the ocean," a source said. Although her attempts to crack America were dealt a huge blow last year after Simon Cowell axed her from the ‘X Factor’ judging panel, Cole is determined to prove him wrong. "She wants to prove to Simon that she can be a star in the US - Cheryl knows she`s got what it takes," it added. PTI
