Salma Hayek freaks out after encounter with snake

Los Angeles, June 10 (PTI) She once seductively danced with a python in 1996`s film `From Dusk Till Dawn` but Hollywood beauty Salma Hayek flew into a fit of hysteria when she spotted a real snake during a TV interview.The 43-year-old star jumped out of her seat and climbed on her `Grown Ups` co-stars when she saw the serpent on the set while taping an interview with `Extra` to promote the film, Us magazine reported.

The star jumped out of her seat while she was being filmed alongside her co-stars Maya Rudolph and Maria Bello, shrieking, "Somebody do something! Nooo!" Hayek climbed on to her chair and into Rudolph`s lap to get as far away as possible from the snake. A frightened Hayek was then whisked away by a member of the production team before she left the set altogether. "Thank you so much," she said, her voice trembling. Talking about the incident Bello said, "It was like a python. It was thick. Its head was like this - like a cobra! She`s (Hayek) split. She`s on the next plane." Actors Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider and David Spade also star in `Grown Ups`, which is about a group of friends who reunite on Fourth of July weekend 20 years after graduating from high school.
