Milagrow launches 2 premium tablets; to invest $2 mn

New Delhi: Milagrow on Wednesday launched two premium tablet PCs priced up to Rs 66,990, and plans to invest about Rs 11 crore to push sales of the Windows-based devices.

"The Milagrow Kupa X11 is a high end tablet suitable for professionals and business organisations. We estimate investment of around USD 2 million in next six to eight months in promotion and sales of these products," Milagrow Director Rajeev Karwal said.

The company has signed exclusive agreement with Kupa for marketing and co-branding of these tablets in India, he said.

The 10-inch screen sized models have been launched in storage capacity of 64 GB and 128 GB for Rs 54,990 and Rs 66,990 respectively.

"The Milagrow Kupa X11 has in-built 3G SIM support which will allow user to make phone calls. It has storage of up to 128 GB and various other high end features required by professionals and business organisation," he said.

These tablet have features to record voice (English only) and convert in to text, write text without even touching the screen from the digital ink pen bundled with it and support business software solutions like enterprise resource planning (ERP), inventory management and others, Karwal said.

"Software of major ERP companies is supported only on internet explorer. Hence, we have filled the gap in market with these tablets that support softwares meant for use of enterprises," Karwal said.
