Amitabh Bachchan congratulates Pran on Dada Saheb Phalke win

Delhi: Veteran actor Pran, who is to receive the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke lifetime achievement award, was congratulated by his co-star of many films – Amitabh Bachchan. Megastar Bachchan took to microblogging site Twitter to express his feelings about Pran Sa’ab’s Dada Saheb Phalke win. Big B wrote, “A glorious tribute to a great human and a large pillar of the Indian Film Industry .. PRAN..the Dada Saheb Phalke award by the state.” Amitabh Bachchan made his feelings vocal on social networking site Facebook too. The actor wrote, “Pran sahib wins the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Award .. much deserved .. a true gentleman and a great friend .. wishing him continuous good health .. and many congratulations. “Pran Saheb and I worked on many films together .. a fine colleague to have on set, disciplined and punctual and most professional ..,” read Big B’s latest Facebook post. Amitabh Bachchan and Pran have worked in many films together, most notably ‘Zanjeer’, ‘Don’ and the like.
