Motorola and Verizon have teamed up to unveil what is to be the next offering in the Razr segment of Motrola smartphones, the new Droid Razr M smartphones.
The two companies have scheduled a press conference for Wednesday in New York City.
According to numerous media sources, the Droid Razr M will pack 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor and with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced Display.
The device will have 4G LTE networks along with a Near Field Communication chip, plus 8GB internal storage and 1GB RAM. Additionally, the new Droid Razr will have an 8MP camera and a 3MP front-facing for Voice Talk and video chatting purposes, sources claim.
It is unclear which version of the Android OS the device will support, but reports suggest that either Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) or Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will be provided out-of-the-box.
As per media reports, The Razr M will be priced at USD 149.99 with a two-year contract.
