Hasselbeck apologises to Erin Andrews!

Elisabeth Hasselbeck apologised to Erin Andrews for `reckless words.’

New York: American TV host Elisabeth Hasselbeck broke down when she apologised to ESPN sportscaster Erin Andrews for her ‘reckless words.’ Hasselback said she was sorry for finding faults with Andrews’ ‘Dancing with the Stars’ outfits.
Andrews wore a wig for the performance of a `Pulp Fiction`-inspired dance, reports The New York Daily News. Hasselback told ‘The View’ that she regretted remarking about Andrews "wearing next to nothing" on the dance floor, despite knowing that the ESPN sportscaster has been through two separate stalking incidents last year. “In light of what happened and as illegal and as inexcusable as it was for that horrific guy to go in and try to peep on her in her hotel room. I mean, in some way if I`m him, I`m like, `Man! I just could`ve waited 12 weeks and seen this – a little bit less – without the prison time,” Hasselback said pointing out Andrews’ costumes. A "very shocked" Andrews, 32, spoke out about the slam, telling People.com that Hasselbeck`s remarks were "a slap in the face to victims of stalking and sexual predators." "The thing that I was most upset about is I felt she was mocking a situation," she said. "As a mother and a woman, I`m disappointed she went there." Hasselback’s daughter while watching ‘Dancing With the Stars’ asked her why she was feeling sad. “She`s five and so cute, she said to me, `Mommy, why don`t you just call Erin and tell her you`re sorry`,” Hasselbeck said. “So, thankfully, I listened to her — she`s a wise little girl — and I did. So, I`m really sorry, and I wanted to offer that publicly too, even though I did follow that advice,” she added. ANI
