Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 with quad-core processor launched

New Delhi: Samsung Electronics Co has launched the Galaxy Grand 2, successor to the Galaxy Grand. The price and availability of the device has not been made official yet.

The device houses a powerful 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM. It also clubs an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

Galaxy Grand 2 will be available in Black, Pink and White colour variants in select regions.

The phone packs some popular apps akin to Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3. It features Story Album that organises pictures by timelines; S Translator, S Travel and Group Play.
