Samsung Galaxy S3 grabs 10 million mark
President of Samsung IT and mobile communication division, Shin Jong-kyun, said that their flagship hit the 10 million sales point quite early in the month.
New Delhi: Samsung CEO had earlier said that the sales of the Galaxy S3 will reach the 10 million mark by July end but the smartphone has already surpassed the predicted date by a long shot.
President of Samsung IT and mobile communication division, Shin Jong-kyun, said that their flagship hit the 10 million sales point quite early in the month. He, however, did not disclose any sales figures. The sales account for approximately 190,000 Galaxy S3 devices sold every day since it went on sale two months ago.
The Galaxy S3 has quickly gained a lot of ground in the competition and is selling fast, making it one of the top phones to be bought by customers.
The third in the Galaxy lineup is powered by a dual-core processor, a grand 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD screen with features like Smart Stay and S-Voice, Samsung’s very own voice assistant.
Apple and Samsung have been going head to head in legal battles where the former has filed many injunctions against Samsung phones and tablets, in the US and in other world markets.
