Mumbai: The Kolkata Knight Riders are having a dream run in the current season of IPL. While co-owners Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla along with hubby Jay Mehta have often been spotted at the stands cheering for their team, SRK’s wife Gauri is conspicuous by her absence.
The lady, who has in the past turned up to support her team along with her huge gang of girl friends, is nowhere to be seen in this year’s IPL.
And ever since her absence has been noticed, speculations have been doing the rounds whether things between the couple are still strained.
The couple’s rock-solid relationship had hit a rough patch recently when rumours of Priyanka and SRK’s alleged affair started doing the rounds. Although all three maintained a dignified silence on the issue, Priyanka was ostracised from SRK’s gang.
Much was discussed in the media, and ever since Gauri seems to be maintaining a low profile.
Gauri’s recent involvement with a construction company which has approached her to design the interiors of luxury apartments could also be one of the reasons that Mrs. Khan is away from the stadium this year.
