New Delhi: Xiaomi is all set to launch the Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus smartphones in an event on September 27.
The Xiaomi Mi5s will be an upgraded version of the Mi5. It will not only get new features but also hardware addition and tweaks that will take the performance of Mi flagships to the next level.
The launch has been confirmed by the Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun. The tech company's CEO even teased a picture taken with the Mi 5s which is slated to have a dual camera, on his personal account in the Chinese micro blogging site Weibo.
Specifications of the Mi5 s
Mi5 s is expected to sport the same screen size of 5.15 inches as its predecessor Mi5
The flagship is likely to sport a 3,490mAh battery and the smartphone is going to be compatible with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset with a clock speed of about 2.4 GHz is fitted inside the Mi5s.
Gaming performance is expected to be slightly increased
The smartphone is expected to offer an internal memory of 256GB.
The 16MP rear camera unit to include f/1.9 aperture and a front camera with 13MP unit.
The price of Mi5 s is expected to be anywhere between Rs 22,000 and Rs 27,000
