Washington: Gisele Bundchen was so impressed by her visit to a wildlife sanctuary in Africa that she requested fans to support her in protecting the endangered species.
The supermodel has posted photos from her trip to an elephant orphanage - the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya - online, Contactmusic reported. Bundchen got the chance to bottle feed the calves and she shared her magical experience with fans on her blog. “When I entered the David Sheldrick Wildlife Sanctuary it felt like being in a dream. We walked into a big field and within minutes we were surrounded by groups of baby elephants,” she wrote. “I will never understand how someone could kill or harm an animal as beautiful and special as an elephant. We need to speak up for these animals or they will continue to be in danger,” she added. ANI
