First Television Award for Vishal Malhotra

Mumbai: Small screen actor Vishal Malhotra is all set to embrace the award season with wide-open arms. This month, he is to receive his first television award for ‘Kuch To Log Kahenge’, a popular serial. Vishal says, “This is my first soap on TV and the Lion’s award is very encouraging.” “I was aware that my character was very popular, especially amongst women. However, awards aren’t something someone expects, and this award has been a voting in award, so it`s a public choice thing and hence more satisfying,” he adds with a smile. The actor has received awards for his film ‘Ishq Vishk’ earlier. And now, he is to be felicitated with the ‘Favourite Best Supporting Actor of The Year’ award.
