Ashley Greene’s stunt double in ‘New Moon’ was a man

Washington: Ashley Greene’s body double in action sequences in ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ was a man. A scene in the film demanded the actress to sit in a speeding Porshe.

Producers were unsuccessful in finding a female, so they made a stuntman wearing a wig do it. "It was a man! I`m not kidding! I guess there`s not really stuntwomen in this part of Italy," Contactmusic quoted Greene as saying. However, the beauty got to drive around country lanes in the car. She added: "They taught me (how to drive the Porsche)... but they would not tell me if they were gonna let me drive the car right until the last minute.
