New Delhi: Gitanjali Gems on Wednesday reported 35.48 percent increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 175.03 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2012.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 129.19 crore in the same period of previous fiscal, Gitanjali Gems Ltd said in a filing to the BSE.
Consolidated net sales of the company rose to Rs 4,354.97 crore in the third quarter, as compared to Rs 3,417.86 crore in the corresponding period of 2011-12 fiscal.
Shares of Gitanjali Gems on Wednesday closed at Rs 574 on the BSE, up 0.36 percent from its previous close.
