Simon Cowell wanted to quit 'X Factor'

Simon Cowell felt at one point of time that 'X Factor' was getting stale.

London: Simon Cowell has revealed that he almost made up his mind to quit The X Factor after he felt it was getting stale and boring.In an interview Cowell has admitted he was so tired of the old and dull audition routine that he almost called it off, just hours after the filming of this year’s series started, reports the Sun.

Sick of the old process, Cowell asked the bosses to hold the auditions before the viewers. This was the first time the audience saw the auditions right before their eyes and Cowell stayed on the show, trying to give it a new look and a fresher feel. Cowell believes the ‘new’ X Factor would win viewers easily and also steal audiences off the rival BBC show Strictly Come Dancing, whose new series premieres next month. The X Factor’s latest edition will start tonight. ANI
