`Power` set to go on floor, Big B to play action role
The mahurat shot of director Rajkumar Santoshi’s `Power` was taken Wednesday and in the film Bollywood`s angry man Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in an action role after a long time.

Mumbai: The mahurat shot of director Rajkumar Santoshi’s "Power" was taken Wednesday and in the film Bollywood`s angry man Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in an action role after a long time.
Just like the title of of the film, the star cast of the movie is quite powerful - Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgn will rub shoulders with Amitabh, who says everyone`s role is well-etched in the script.
"We all have had worked with him before. Here the characters have been very well-written and all actors have very important roles in the story," Bachchan told reporters after the Mauharat of "Power" at JW Marriot Hotel here today.
Director Prakash Jha rolled the camera for the mahurat shot that gave an impression that in the film Amitabh, Sanjay and Ajay will be up in arm against Anil for different reasons. And they join hands to take a revenge on Anil.
Talking about the story, Santoshi said: "I won’t disclose the story but it’s about clash between power of anger, lies and truth."
The director has roped in Hollywood action directors and stunt coordinators who have been a part of spectacular Hollywood films like "Spiderman", "Swordfish", and James Bond series.
Produced by Firoz A Nadiadwala, under the banner Nadiadwala Entertainment and Technologies, the film is going on floor Oct 4.
