Mumbai: Fertiliser major Tata Chemicals Wednesday said Cyrus P Mistry, the Deputy Chairman of Tata Sons, has been appointed as director on the board of the company.
In a communique to the BSE, the company said, "The Board of Directors has approved appointment of Cyrus P Mistry as an additional director of the company with effect from May 30, 2012."
Noted economist Vijay Kelkar has also been appointed as an additional director of the company with effect from today, the filing added.
Mistry, the chairman designate to Tata group, is also a director of Tata Industries, Tata Steel, Tata Power, Tata Teleservices, Tata Motors and Tata Consultancy Services.
