Asin gets the highest civilian award of Tamil Nadu

Chennai: Asin is making serious waves much beyond the film industry. Asin would soon be receiving the Kalaimamani award, which is the highest civilian honour given by the Tamil Nadu government. This will also be Asin`s 150th award of her career and given the fact that she is so young, it is indeed an incredible achievement. She worked wonders in the South Indian film industry, then debuted in Bollywood with a great bang in ‘Ghajini’. Having won the Best Debutante Award for her role, her career and recognition is looking higher and higher. With this highest civilian award, Asin would add yet another feather to her already impressive cap. The award will be presented to her by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M Karunanidhi.
