Police raid hotel where Bollywood stars were performing

Jaipur: Police raided a five-star hotel, where Bollywood celebrities such as Bobby Deol and Malaika Arora Khan were reportedly performing at a wedding ceremony, and seized musical instruments after locals complained about noise in the silent zone here.

Hotel Clarks Amer, which is located in the silent zone, was raided on Monday night, when the function was going on and actors were performing on "blaring music", SHO Jawahar Circle Suryaveer Singh said today. "Following complaints from locals, we raided the hotel and seized some musical instruments. An FIR was registered against the hotel management, security officer S R Sharma who had denied to stop the music, and unidentified persons who were performing there," he said. "We also served notice to the hotel management asking them to submit the details of organisers and the guests, who were present there," he said, adding that action against those who were performing the stage show will be taken once the hotel authorities give them the details. Sources said Malaika Arora, Bobby Deol and Aditya Pancholi were among those present there. PTI
